Coleen Garcia urged the moviegoers to catch the January 17th screening of her movie Mia because the proceeds will be donated to Taal Volcano victims.
She also thanked their movie producers for donating.
In an Instagram post on Friday, she wrote, "If you guys wanna watch Mia, please try to watch TODAY! ALL net proceeds of today’s screenings (Friday) will be donated to the victims of the Taal eruption. Just wanna thank our producers for this"
She also reminded everyone to be prepared all the time since nobody expected Taal Volcano to be active again in an earlier interview.
“At the same time, I mean nobody predicted, who could've assume that Taal will be active again like that, ‘di ba? We all didn't see it coming, so the best we can do talaga is really to be prepared all the time,” Coleen said.
Coleen takes on the lead role in her latest movie where she played as a doctor who became self-destructive and alcoholic after her fiance’s death. Kapuso actor Edgar Allan Guzman, William Martinez, and Yayo Aguila are also part of the movie.
Coleen Garcia is the wife of the singer and TV host Billy Crawford. She is an actress, host, and model. From 2012 to 2016 she was a host on the variety show It's Showtime, has since left the program to focus on her acting career.
