Vice President Leni Robredo has shared a video of her packing relief goods for the victims of the Taal Volcano eruption.
KAMI learned that Robredo showed the kinds of goods her office received from private citizens.
In a report by the ABS-CBN News, the donations included blankets, mattresses, toiletries, biscuits, and bottled water.
"Andito po tayo ngayon nagre-repack ng goods. Ito pong goods na nakikita niyo dito sa paligid, lahat ito ay donated by private citizens," Robredo said.
"Tiningnan natin ang mga kailangan do'n. Pinost natin sa Facebook. In 1 day, dumagsa dito ang mga donation," she added.
Robredo went to Batangas on Tuesday to assess the situation of the victims and delivered some goods.
Before the video ends, Robredo pointed on a box with a “mocha” label on it.
“Kumpleto!” she quipped.
In a previous report by KAMI, Robredo called out Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) deputy executive Mocha Uson for allegedly spreading “fake news.”
Uson claimed that Robredo only did the relief efforts to take photos and that she only donated 5 pieces of pandesal and bottled water. However, Robredo denied these claims.
Leni Robredo is the current Vice President of the Philippines and the second woman to ever assume the post. She is the widow of former Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo.
