Jennica Garcia-Uytingco and her husband Alwyn Uytingco took to social media to share their reaction to the Taal Volcano eruption, which has affected the lives of many residents nearby.
KAMI learned that the married couple joined the rescue team that aims to help victims of the eruption.
She also slammed the sellers and stores who increased the price of masks due to the increase in demand.
“NAKAKAIYAK. Naghahanda kami ngayon ng asawa ko para sumama sa isang Rescue Team papuntang Tagaytay dahil nangangailangan ng karagdagang man power,” Jennica wrote on Instagram.
She also posted about her gratitude to the officers who have led the rescue of the victims.
“Ang magigiting nating mga Officers! Mga pagod na pero ng makita nila kami sa ICP, we were immedietly welcomed with warm smiles and a shake of hand.
“As of yesterday at 5 in the afternoon there are 3,371 evacuees from Batangas that are now residing in Tagaytay. Our Team of 23 people are deployed to Talisay Batangas so that is where we are heading at the moment,” she posted online.

Jennica Garcia is an actress and the daughter of veteran star Jean Garcia. She got married to Alwyn Uytingco in February 2014. They have two children – Athena Mori and Alexis Severina.
