Bela Padilla could not keep her cool after knowing that some suppliers of face masks sell their products to the victims of the Taal Volcano eruption at a very high price.
KAMI learned that the gorgeous actress aired her rant while she was delivering her spiels on the noontime variety show “It’s Showtime.”
She called on sellers and suppliers of face masks to never take advantage of the difficult situation because a lot of people will suffer.
The “Miracle in Cell No. 7” star also revealed that the suggested retail price of the said products is around 50 pesos, not 150 or 200 pesos.
The celebrity even told the people who are affected by the eruption to find generous individuals who offer free face masks.
“Tayong mga Pinoy, hindi tayo nagpapatalo. Kahit anong hamon pa yan, our God is bigger than any calamity. Kaya sa mga nagsasamantala sa panahon ng kalamidad, ‘Hoy, wag kayong ganyan!’” she quipped.
“Ako, nagagalit talaga ako eh. Nakita ko eh... Doble-doble saka triple yung presyo… Doon tayo sa mga namimigay. Ang suggested retail price po ng mask ay around 50 pesos lang. Wag na tayong magdagdag,” she added.
