Marcelito Pomoy, a famous recording artist in the Philippines, was able to amaze the judges and studio audience of “America’s Got Talent” with his recent performance.
KAMI learned that the said singer has decided to join the “The Champions” edition of the said foreign program to prove himself in the international stage.
When it was already his turn to sing, he did not disappoint his supporters as he incredibly belted out the song “The Prayer” by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion.
The American judges, especially the prominent Simon Cowell and Howie Mendel, could not hide their amusement after hearing the falsetto and soprano voices of the Filipino contestant.
“That’s his voice?” Howie quipped.
“That was so unique. You are a beautiful, wonderful singer with a young woman trapped inside of you!” he added.
At the end of his much-talked-about performance, Marcelito received a standing ovation from the audience and judges.
Simon even commented that he will give the singer a “10” because of his awesome song number on the well-known international show.
As of this writing, the video showing the performance of the “Pilipinas Got Talent 2011” winner is number one trending on YouTube with more than 700 thousand views and counting.
