Vice President Leni Robredo led the distribution of relief goods to thousands of affected individuals since the Taal Volcano started spewing ashes.
KAMI learned that the prominent politician went to the old municipal covered court of Sta. Teresita, Batangas to give important items to the victims.
It can be seen in the video uploaded on social media that the wife of Jesse Robredo was talking to the affected people while handing over the relief goods.
The packs that were distributed contained several kilos of rice, canned goods, and instant noodles. She also gave masks to help prevent health complications.
Aside from the abovementioned goods, the Vice President also decided to distribute bottled water to the affected residents.
“Salamat VP Leni for being present for those afflicted by Taal Volcano!” a netizen commented.
