Recently, pop star Justin Bieber revealed that he has been battling against Lyme disease.
KAMI learned that aside from the Lyme disease, Bieber also has chronic mono.
Through an Instagram post, Bieber has finally broken his silence over his physical state.
“While a lot of people kept saying Justin Bieber looks like sh*t, on meth etc,” he wrote.
“They failed to realize I've been recently diagnosed with Lyme disease, not only that but had a serious case of chronic mono which affected my, skin, brain function, energy, and overall health,” Bieber added.
The singer shared that he would be releasing a docu-series to explain his disease and let the people know about the battle he has been facing for years now.
“It's been a rough couple years but getting the right treatment that will help treat this so far incurable disease and I will be back and better than ever,” Bieber said.
In a report by TMZ, the YouTube docu-series will be out on January 27, 2020.
Lyme disease is an infection caused by bacteria commonly carried by ticks. If left untreated, the infection can spread to the heart, joints, and nervous system. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about 300,000 Americans are diagnosed with Lyme Disease each year.
Justin Bieber is a Canadian singer and songwriter. He became popular for his cover songs on YouTube. Some of his hit singles are One Time, Baby, Sorry, and What Do You Mean?
Recently, he released his song Yummy. Bieber is also gearing up for his upcoming album release and tour.
