Robin Padilla took to social media to greet his beloved friend Sharon Cuneta a happy birthday. What made Robin’s greeting extra special was his flashback story involving the Megastar.
According to the action star, he used to idolize Sharon when he was just a young boy. He told the story of how he tried to get Sharon’s attention when she visited Baguio and when he failed to do so, he vowed to meet with her in the future.
“Im just a boy from the mountains of Baguio dreaming of meeting his idol always imagining the day i will see her.
“One day she has a motorcade in the city of pines there i saw her in slow motion waving to her fans.
“i chased her but the vehicle was moving fast i tried to keep up running my fastest i shouted and shouted her famous name hoping she gives me a glimpse but i lost them.
“i slowly stop catching my breath still looking at the zigzag road wonderin where she was going suddenly happiness turned into sadness i sat down on the sidewalk hoping her vehicle would reappear minutes turned into hours i told myself one day i will have the chance again and i will never let my idol go MAGING SINO KA MAN....
“Happy birthday idol huli man daw ay nakakahabol pa rin @reallysharoncuneta,” Robin told Sharon on Instagram.
Robin’s emotional post for Sharon came amidst her “tampuhan” issue with her daughter KC Concepcion. Sharon recently admitted to getting hurt by KC since the latter is always away and does not even celebrate important family events with her.
