KAMI learned that the Manila Mayor expressed his disappointment over the Vice President’s statement.

According to Moreno’s interview on ANC, it is not wise to be overly critical of the war on drugs because the police officers involved in it have been risking their lives.

He explained that calling the drug war an enormous failure might demoralize the police force.

“Unfair naman sa enforcement unit who are putting their life on the line.

"They are willing…We have to be very careful with this kind of statement because it might demoralize them,” Moreno told ANC.
