Look! A tribute to Duterte from the arts

Comedian actor Michael V. has given tribute to presumptive President-elect Rodrigo Duterte via Instagram as he expresses his thoughts about the Philippine government.

In his post, the comedian-actor Michael V, or Bitoy to his fans and friends, says “Mabuhay ang pangulo! (Long live the president! He knows nothing ... indeed! You can do nothing, the people have spoken. With every new day, are trying new beginning. "BE TRUE" one heart and mind to the word.)

The “Bubble Gang” star also ask the Filipino people to help each other to reach the ‘changes’ they want.

According to him, this is the right time to restrain tongue-wagging and for people to be more humane. ” (Whoever is elected as the president, he will not be able to bear the weight [necessary for change] if we don’t help out. For the moral change that he will initiate, we must hold out and see it through until the end. Restrain the biting words. Release your heart for humanitarian work.)

WALANG DAPAT IKATAKOT KUNG ANG GINAGAWA AY TAMA,” he added. (Believe that God differentiates between good and evil. There’s nothing to fear WHEN YOU DO WHAT IS RIGHT.)

Bitoy, in another Instagram post also reminded the people that change should start from the people - the body - and not the president.

Aside from being one of the Philippines’ most popular comedians today, Michael V is also known for his artworks depicting different events and personalities.
