Prince Harry dressed up as Santa Claus as he delivered a heartwarming message during the event of the Scotty’s Little Soldiers.
KAMI learned that Scotty’s Little Soldiers is a charity in the UK that is dedicated to children who lost their fathers that were members of the British Armed Forces.
In a report by the CTV News, the Duke of Sussex praised the children for being strong given their situation.
“I know how incredibly strong you are,” Prince Harry said.
“Yes, losing a parent is incredibly hard, but I know that every single one of you, by helping each other out, you will have an amazing future ahead of you and you’re going to have a fantastic Christmas as well,” he said.
He ended the clip by removing his beard and wished everyone a “fantastic Christmas and Happy New Year.”
Scotty’s Little Soldiers Founder Nikki Scott said that the video message from Prince Harry meant the world to the kids.
“It can be a difficult time of year for these kids, so receiving a heartfelt message from Prince Harry really meant the world to them. The message was a surprise and the look on their faces was priceless,” she said.
Earlier, it has been reported that Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their baby Archie are planning to spend a “private” Christmas in Canada.
Prince Harry is the younger son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. He married Meghan Markle on May 19, 2018. On May 6, 2019, their first child Archie Mountbatten-Windsor was born.
