Pokwang recently got into an intense exchange of arguments with a social media user who straightforwardly criticized her brand of comedy.

KAMI learned that the viral incident began when the popular actress stated through an interview that she can feel how comedians are poorly treated in the country.

She also admitted that all the entertainers in the Philippines must adapt to the changes since this generation is already for millennials.

A netizen bravely commented that it is just right for some comedians to be treated poorly because they possess cheap kind of comedy.

Another social media user also pointed out that showbiz people who use comedy as source of income must raise their level to suit the masses.

“Cheap version of comedy deserves cheap treatment,” the netizen quipped.

“Maka cheap version of comedy ka naman. Huy kaya mo ba ginagawa namin… Basahin mo mabuti [yung] sinabi ko…” Pokwang replied.

“Hindi po ako writer, pero pwede ko i-suggest na huwag gawing katatawanan ang mga sumusunod: Kulang o higit ang talino at kulang o higit ang yaman,” the netizen said.

“Hindi po ako ganyan mag joke sorry… Mukhang di mo pa ako napapanood kaloka ka!” the celebrity responded.
