Cesar Apolinario passed away at the age of 46 due to lymphoma, a type of cancer that affects the immune system.
KAMI learned that an emotional scene at the late reporter’s wake was caught on camera and went viral.
The photo shows his grieving wife, Joy Apolinario, laying her head on his coffin as their children – Remuscesar, Athena Joyce and Sofia – stood behind her.
According to GMA News, the final blessing of Cesar’s remains will be held today at the Loyola Memorial Chapels and Crematorium.
