Jukebox queen and congresswoman candidate Imelda Papin wants the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) to prevent the proclamation of Arnulfo ‘Noli’ Fuentabilla as the new congressman of Camarines Sur.
According to the report by GMA news, Fuentabilla garnered 700 more votes than Papin in the congressional race in the first district of the said province.
Papin wants to prevent the proclamation of Fuentabilla because the votes in the town of Tinambac is not yet opened and transmitted.
According to her, if the votes from the said town is transmitted, she might get 1,000 more votes than her opposing candidate.
According to COMELEC Camarines Sur, the transmission of votes was disrupted because the SD card used in Tinambac was transferred to Manila to be read properly.
Meanwhile, other candidates were already proclaimed after the received the highest votes.
