A mother showed off her creativity and resourcefulness as a parent to her 1-year-old son.

KAMI learned that the mother thought of leaving a cut-out of herself so that her son will not start crying when she is away.

In a report by the Rachfeed, the mother would display the cardboard near her 1-year-old son every time she gets busy and has to leave the room for a while.

A video has been shared by the Daily Mail UK on Facebook.

“This mother did what now?!” it read in the caption.

She has two cut-outs ready for display. One is an image of her standing up, while the other one is a photo of her kneeling down.

The cut-out seems to be working for their child because every time he sees the image of her mother, he would smile and chuckle.
