Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa has slammed the United States if ever his US visa has been canceled.

KAMI learned that recently, there have been reports going around that the United States canceled the visa of the senator on the basis that he was allegedly involved in extrajudicial killings in the country.

In a report by the Inquirer (authored by Maila Ager), Dela Rosa said that the United States would be “very biased” if indeed his visa got canceled due to the said reason.

“Granting that it’s true na ang basis ng cancellation is ‘yung involvement [in] EJK, well they are very biased, they are misinformed, they are misled by their informants,” Dela Rosa.

“Kayo mismo nandito man kayo sa Pilipinas, kayong media, sige nga, ako ba’y nag-encourage na patayin ‘yung mga drug suspects? Ako ba’y nag-utos na patayin? Ako ba’y nagco-cover up sa mga ginagawa na kalokohan ng ating kapulisan?” he said.

As reported by CNN Philippines, Dela Rosa revealed that he did not watch the match of Senator Manny Pacquiao because of his fear that he would be denied entry in the United States.

"Hindi ko na lang tinry manood ng last Pacman fight kasi baka hindi nga ako papasukin at mapahiya lang ako. May tsismis na akong naririnig noon pa prior to the fight," Dela Rosa said.

Dela Rosa explained that he did not receive any word from the US government yet regarding his visit to the country.
