Thirteen-year-old Filipino-Austrian Lukas Janisch was declared the winner of “The Voice Kids Germany” on Friday, March 25.
Lukas’ finale songs “When We Were Young” by Adele and “If I Ain’t Got You” by Alicia Keys helped him nab the grand prize, which includes a training grant worth 15,000 euros and a record deal.

Lukas’ journey in “The Voice Kids Germany” started with a stunning rendition of Alicia Keys' "Fallin'" during his blind auditions, which wowed all three coaches -- Lena Meyer Landrut, Sasha Alexander, and Mark Forster -- into a three-chair turn and a standing ovation.
The audience and the coaches were so impressed that they even asked Lukas for an encore, to which he duly complied.
All three coaches tried different strategies to convince Lukas to join their respective teams. Alexander even sang Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” to woo the young singer.
Lukas, however, eventually picked Forster as his coach.
