Bela Padilla shared a memorable experience during a dubbing for her crying scene in her movie "Miracle in Cell No.7"
KAMI learned from a pocket press conference that the actress had to dub a crying scene because the music would be taken out.
"Sabi sa akin sa dubbing, kailangan kong i-dub yung iyak, kasi yung music, buburahin."
"So, pinag-dub ako ng iyak. Siyempre, nakasuot ako ng earphone, nakaharap ako sa screen, iyak ako nang iyak. Sabi ko, 'Okey na po.' Pagtalikod ko, lahat ng lalaki sa likod ko, umiiyak, yung dubbers."
"Napapanood nila from start to finish, paulit-ulit. Sabi nila, 'Wala, pagod na pagod na kami dito.' Kasi, morning pa lang, umiiyak na sila," she narrated.
Bela also said that even during their shooting, some of their staff became emotional because of the heavy scenes.
"Nakakatuwa. Actually, kahit noong shooting, yung staff namin, cinematographer, yung mga AD [assistant director] lahat, kapag cut, makikita mo pasa-pasa sila ng tissue kasi nga ang bibigat ng eksena."
