The producer of “Eat Bulaga” finally aired his thoughts about the fact that the hosts of “It’s Showtime” always mention their rival show on national television.
KAMI learned that mentioning the longest-running Kapuso noontime show is one of the effective ways for Vice Ganda and the other hosts to make their audience laugh.
One of the comedian’s most unforgettable punch lines where he mentioned the GMA-7 program was about the big prizes that it gives to the contestants.
Because of this, Mike Tuviera, the producer of the said Kapuso program, already expressed his opinion about the continuous mention of “Eat Bulaga” on its rival show.
He stated that it is actually a good thing and he also emphasized that the rivalries in both networks are just for marketing or promotion.
The producer also stressed that he fully understands the work of people in the production industry and he has the utmost respect for them.
“Ay ano, that’s great! Ang sa akin naman kasi, yung mga network wars naman po, that’s more of a marketing thing. That’s more of a marketing issue and sa creative,” he quipped.
"I have utmost respect po sa... Kumbaga ang hirap po ng ginagawa ng mga partners namin sa kabila… Parang I understand yung issues about network wars pero at the end of the day we’re all in one ship,” he added.
