Filipino comedian Gil Morales, or better known as Ate Gay, recently caught the attention of many netizens because of his message to the rival show of Gandang Gabi Vice.
KAMI learned that the said entertainer congratulated The Boobay and Tekla Show for dominating its time slot when it comes to television ratings.
He stated in his much-talked-about post that the Kapuso comedy program has been receiving high ratings for a year already.
He also put three clap emojis in his comment so that he can show his appreciation for the recent achievement of the Boobay and Super Tekla-led talk show.
“Isang taon na kayo namamayagpag…” the comedian wrote.
Many netizens were puzzled after reading the post of the celebrity since he recently got furious at Vice Ganda’s remark about his allegation versus “Tawag ng Tanghalan.”
However, Ate Gay explained in another Instagram status that he just congratulated the GMA-7 show because he treats its hosts like true friends and "anak-anakan".
He also called on people to never put malice on his viral post since he does not intend to offend the “Unkabogable Star” or other people.
“Anak ko si Boobay at kasama ko si Tekla sa Klownz at Zirkoh. Umabot sila ng isang taon kaya ko sila binati. Ang susunod kong bati ay next year,” he explained.
“Huwag po bigyan ng malisya. Maraming salamat po! Love, love, love…” he added.
In a previous article by KAMI, Ate Gay bravely responded to the statement of Vice about his canceled appearance on “Tawag ng Tanghalan.”
Ate Gay is one of the most popular comedians in the Philippines. He is known for impersonating the “Superstar” Nora Aunor.
