An online report has circulated online after claiming that Filipina actress and comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto has passed away.
However, KAMI learned that the claim was false.
In a report by Rappler, the online report claimed that Quinto was found dead inside her bedroom.
“Breaking News: Rufa Mae Quinto Natagpuang Patay sa Loob ng Kanyang Kwarto,” it stated in the headline.
The report was published by the website “kardashianisinthebuilding.com.” and it showed a 5-second clip that showed a photo of a supposed crime scene where a policeman was standing in front of a dead person lying on the bed.
A Youtube video also made the same claim regarding the actress’ supposed death.
According to the Rappler, Rufa Mae is still pretty much alive. She recently posted on her official Instagram account.
No credible sources reported about the supposed death of the actress. When the claim was made, Rufa Mae was in the United States according to her Instagram posts.
Born on May 28, 1978, Rufa Mae Quinto Magallanes is a Filipina actress, comedienne, and host. She had been in GMA’s show Bubble Gang for many years. Recently, became part of ABS-CBN’s sitcom Home Sweetie Home.
