According to Enchong, he is saddened that democracy seems to be disrespected in the country today.

He also lamented that many Filipinos still support politicians who have been accused of corruption and other forms of crime.

The Kapamilya actor has made headlines in the past for criticizing the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte.

“It’s easier to ignore the end of our democracy than the end of an administration.

“We’re so divided as a nation today. Harap harapan na tayong ninanakawan at ginagago pero bakit pinagtatanggol natin yung mali. Anyare Pinas? #BatoBatoSaLangit,” Enchong tweeted.
